Ogden-Hinckley Airport

Located at Ogden-Hinckley Airport, 3909 Airport Rd, Ogden, UT. Model 5AT.

Former Weber County Civil Defense siren. This siren was installed in 1961, alongside a system of nine others in the county. These sirens were used for civil defense drills, with the last reported test occurring in 1977. This siren is currently still in use, to alert for emergencies and power outages at the airport. This siren may sound for emergency drills at the airport, but this is not confirmed. Photos dated 01/29/2022.
